Audition Process

The audition process is short and uncomplicated! Here’s what you need to do:

• Anyone auditioning must have already completed the Genesis Church Discovery Class.
• Auditions are scheduled to best fit the schedules of the people participating in the audition and are held in Atoka, TN.
• If you would like to audition for the Worship Team, please contact Jim Thornton using the form on our contact us page.

We’ve provided 3 songs on our downloads page for you to choose from for your audition. Please select 1 song and then do the following:

• Download the audio mp3 and chord chart or lyric sheet.
• Be sure that you have spent time rehearsing so you feel confident and prepared.
• Your audition will be a quick run through of the song you’ve practiced in front of or with 2 or more team members. It’s painless…we promise!
• We will also spend a few minutes getting to know you and your experiences as a musician and/or vocalist and you will have the opportunity to play and/or sing a song of your choice.
• We’ll connect with you that night to let you know what you’re next step is. That’s it!
